Several weeks ago we posted an innocent video where we attempted to “fix” some of the body damage after the Civic hit a wall at Watkins Glen International Raceway. We appropriately titled the video “Three Guys and a Hammer”.
I received an e-mail from Kai stating that he did a Google search to see how this blog would be shown, and one of the terms he tried was “Astrophysathingy” (Kai’s nick name). I saw there was a photo attached, but it wasn’t visible until the bottom of the e-mail.
His next comment was merely “Speechless and shaken.” Now I was a bit worried. I scroll down to see this!
Ha, ha. Very funny Kai. Right Kai? I quickly went to the Google search area and typed in “Astrophysathingy”. Ah, phew, I don’t see it. Then I go to the second page of the results. OMG! This isn’t a joke after all. Wow. How in the world could this happen? We can only speculate that this must be Ivy’s fault (Kai’s girlfriend, or at least that’s their cover). All of those comments on “rear bumpers’ and innuendos about “guys,” “adventures” and “hammering”…uggg!
My wife hears me laughing loudly and comes in to see what in the world could be going on. I show her. Now she’s roaring with laughter; even my 2 ½ year old son is laughing (he’s better off not knowing what’s really going on). Once she settles down, she asks if I clicked on the link.
“Ummmm, no!”
“Dave, you need to click on the link.” Kai was at work so he couldn’t and asked if I did. When I told him, I got the anticipated “Melissa made you – yeah, sure.”
So, when’s the last time you Googled your name?

That’s sooooo funny Dave!!! It just goes to show you how important it is to google your name. Never know what you’re going to get!
I think you and Kai need to change your names to protect your innocent family members and friends.
